Hi Donna, we have been having a bit of a misunderstanding with the meaning of your song "Angels Fly Close To the Ground". Is it about someone who has passed away or someone still alive. But anyway we all love the song. Please let me know.

"Angels" is actually about my grandmother, who passed away in 2001, but it's ALSO about anyone who comes into your life when you're low and in need of love/help/support... I think that means you both win!

Summer Rain....what can I say? That's one of the best songs I've heard in years, and I've listened to a LOT of songs in the last several years. I compare this song to a lot of the ones by bluegrass groups such as the Seldom Scene and Third Time Out. Truly OUTSTANDING harmonies, along with superior musicianship by the backup musos, and add some pretty savvy songwriting skills, make for a truly outstanding song. The rest of the tracks are also terrific, but in this steel guitar player's humble opinion, Summer Rain is on the top of the heap of a group of truly terrific songs. Keep it going, and keep on keeping it country/bluegrass!!!!! GOODONYA!
